Bubbles is in the internationally awarded abstract series “Hollows” This image is comprised of many photographs of potholes filled with water, bubbles, ice and debris that I captured on my mile-long stone driveway in Green Lane, Pennsylvania. Then, I took those images to the screen to enhance what lies within these potholes, a convergence of nature and fantasy. Bubbles is a culmination of sensual and sensory experiences conceived through nature, art, photography, and technology. Bubbles High Definition Print is adhered to a rescued, revived and repurposed shallow bowl, hand painted and then many layers of varnish applied to give a satin glass appearance. This charger bowl is for decorative purposes and not food safe.
